An all-time high of 517 385 new industrial robots was installed in 2021 in factories worldwide. This represents a growth rate of 31% year-on-year and exceeds the pre-pandemic record of robot installation in 2018 by 22%. Today, the stock of operational robots globally hits a new form of about 3.5 million units.

Rising energy prices, intermediate product prices, and scarcity of electronic components are challenging all branches of the global economy. Limited production capacity and supply chain disruptions have demonstrated the need for additional production capacity in many industries.

Is it an Opportunity, a Challenge, or a Problem?

Robotized production does not simply mean installing a robot near the machine tool and connecting it to the equipment. Before deploying the robot, assessing how it can represent the most outstanding value in the given application is necessary.
